Krystal Transport is keen to make you aware of our cancellations, bookings and general rules to ensure that no misunderstandings arise before, during or after you have travelled with us.

Cancellation of Shuttle Bus Transfers

If you have already fully paid for your Cairns, Port Douglas or Airport shuttle bus ticket in advance directly to us, we are happy to refund money as follows.

  • We will refund 100% of the fare paid in the event we cancel the trip due to weather, road or other conditions which are beyond our control.
  • We will refund 75% of the fare paid if we receive your cancellation notice more than 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
  • We will refund 50%of the fare paid if we receive your cancellation notice between 24 and 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of scheduled departure time no refund will be given.
  • If you have booked through a tour desk or travel agent refunds are at the discretion of that agent.


Safety on board the Shuttle Bus

Krystal Transport is committed to making your trip with us a safe one. All vehicles are meticulously maintained to the stringent Queensland Transport authority's rules and are regularly checked by that authority for compliance. And all our experienced professional drivers are accredited by Queensland Transport.



General Rules for the Shuttle Bus

To ensure everyone benefits from a safe and pleasant journey, please take into consideration the following points:

  • Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited on all Krystal Transport shuttle bus transfers between Cairns, Port Douglas and the Airport.
  • Krystal Transport reserves the right to refuse boarding to passengers who under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Any kind of violence will not be tolerated. Violence towards any other passenger(s) or the driver will result in the offender(s) being removed from the bus and may possibly lead to legal action.
  • Please warn the driver of any suspicious activity on the bus.
  • Please respect the comfort of other passengers.
